Changing the way people buy cars

Q: How are you able to sell your cars so cheap?

A: Virtual Auto Sales is a low overhead operation. The owners use Virtual Auto Sales as an outlet for their love of performance automobiles. In what other business can your drive your inventory!!! By working primarily off a brokerage model we carry little if any inventory, and therefore our working capital is very low. We don't need a large lot, on a business highway costing thousands of dollars a month. Advertising costs are minimal since our clients are already identified.

Q: Where do you get your cars?

A: We get our cars at the same dealer auctions the big boys do. The only difference being that we are much more particular about what we buy, the mileage and the condition of the vehicle. Sometimes we do take trade-ins but that is a rare exception. We are in this business for the cars, not the head aches, so bring cash or a cashiers check :-)!

Q: What do you mean "Auto Broker"?

A: Technology is starting to catch on in the wholesale auto business. The nations largest auction business now has all of their pre-auction inventory on-line and fully searchable. What this means is that you and Virtual Auto Sales can search the available auction inventory, find the year, color, mileage etc that meet your criteria, and make arrangements to buy a specific vehicle at auction prices. With many associates around the country and low cost air fares to most major cities, the cost to attend the auction is minimal. We find that most performance and luxury  vehicles go through either the Riverside CA, Atlanta GA, Orlando FL or Manheim PA auctions. Since we frequent all these very regularly it is rare that we go and buy only one vehicle therefore the acquisition cost is usually spread over multiple clients.

Q: What is your "brokerage fee"?

A: We work off a fixed percentage of the auction price. We charge 9.9% (plus TT&L for Texas Residents) of the final auction price based on the total value of the vehicle. We will provide you with the actual auction sales receipt at the time of purchase.  We also must charge a Texas inventory tax for every vehicle we sell, however this is only 0.00248 x the sales price.

Q: What if I don't like the car you bring back from the auction?

A: We understand that sometimes there is something people just don't like about a car. Virtual Auto Sales offers a 7-day, 700 mile no questions asked return policy. We feel confident that in many situations we can resale back at the auction and break even on the transaction. The only cost we can't make-up is the buy and sell fee the auction charges us. Therefore there will be a non-refundable $500 charge for each car. But hey, wouldn't you spend $500 for the chance to save thousands!!!
